Electrical Engineering

Conventional resources of energy such as coal and oil are depleting. To meet the ever increasing requirement of energy, there is great need to develop newer sources of energy at affordable price. Hence, there will always be market of trained electrical personnel for maintaining the existing resources of energy and doing research and development in the field of energy.

The energy sector in India is booming and therefore more and more jobs are being created for students of Electrical background. Thus, there is bright future for electrical engineers in the year to come. The department has adequately equipped Labs e.g. Electrical Machine Laboratory, Power system laboratory, Basic Electrical Engineering Laboratory, Circuit Theory and Network Laboratory, Measurement Laboratory, Control System Laboratory etc.

The department has highly qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty members. The department has proposed to introduce M .Tech. programme.
